About me

Adongwot Manyoul is a South Sudanese-Australian advocate, speaker, and social change maker with a strong academic background. She holds a double degree in Communications (Journalism) and International Studies, combining her education with lived experience to drive meaningful change.

In 2019, Adongwot was awarded a prestigious Churchill Fellowship, completing her research in 2024. Her work explored innovative anti-racism strategies within the education system to support the success of young people from African diaspora communities and foster genuine social cohesion.

Adongwot is also an advisor to the Victorian Government, serving on the Victorian African Communities Committee, where she contributes her expertise to improve policies and outcomes for multicultural communities. Drawing from her diverse experiences, she is committed to fostering inclusion, equity, and cultural understanding.
